Filipa Soares holds a degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto.

She collaborated with APDES - Piaget Agency for Development - as a Risk Reduction Technician and Coordinator of national and European projects in the area of drug use management, sexuality, and other risky behaviors in young people.

In 2013, she completed a Mindfulness for Stress Reduction and Emotional Development (MBSR) program with Dr. Carla Martins at Ser Integral: Portuguese Center for Mindfulness.

Between 2014 and 2017, she completed training in the Mindfulness Curriculum for children and adolescents, Mindfulness Fundamentals, and Mindfulness in Communication from Mindful Schools (www.mindfulschools.org).

In 2017, she completed MBSR – Mind and Body Medicine training from the Mindfulness Center at the University of Massachusetts, with Saki Santorelli and Florence Meyer. Mindful Games training with Susan Keiser Greenland and MBSR-T with Gina Biegel.

In 2015, she completed her training in Conscious Parenting, becoming a certified Conscious Parenting facilitator by EAPPT/LIFE Training/Mikaela Ovén.

Since 2015, she has collaborated with Ser Integral: Centro Português de Mindfulness in the development of Mindfulness programs aimed at schools, parents, children, and adolescents.
